Food Trucks & Mobile Kitchens
A Cartsmith food truck is not a converted van with a burner bolted in. We start from your menu — how many covers an hour, which stations run hot, where your staff stand — and design the kitchen line around that before a single sheet of steel is cut.
The body is built on a new or existing chassis with insulated panels, food-grade SS-304 surfaces, certified gas lines, proper drainage and an exhaust system that actually pulls. Then it gets wrapped, lit and handed over road-legal.
Typical range: ₹4,00,000 – ₹8,00,000+ depending on vehicle and kitchen build

Good to know
Questions we get about this build.
Tata Ace for tight city streets and the lowest running cost. Force or Eicher when you need a longer line, more cold storage or a 3–4 person crew. We recommend based on your menu and daily covers, not on what we have in stock.
Yes. We can source and register a new chassis for you, or fabricate on a vehicle you already own — whichever works out better for your budget.
Builds use food-grade SS-304 surfaces, certified gas lines and proper drainage. We handle the RTO body-change documentation, and provide the layout drawings you need for your FSSAI application.
Also consider
Other ways to go on wheels.

Foldable Food Cart
The flagship Cartsmith unit. A collapsible food cart that folds flat for storage or transport in a car boot, then opens into a full serving counter in minutes — built for home-based sellers, exhibitions and weekend pop-ups.

Food Trailers
Towable kitchens you can detach and station anywhere — ideal for events, festivals, breweries and permanent pitches. Hydraulic and pop-out serving options available.

Tow Food Cart
A larger prep surface on a road-stable towable chassis. Hitch it behind a car or a bike and take the whole kitchen to an outstation event, a wedding lawn or a weekend market — then unhitch and trade.
